Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting a HGV Driver to join the team.
Positions: Tipper, Skip, or Concrete Drivers
Location: Great Billing
Working Hours: Monday – Friday between 6am – 6pm, with occasional Saturday work, averaging 50 hours per week
Pay: On target earnings circa £43,000 per annum plus performance-related bonuses

About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Class 2 Drivers to join our business and contribute to our ongoing success. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Class 2 Drivers. Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph Card, and Drivers Qualification Card.
Main Responsibilities for HGV Drivers
- Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift vehicle checks, including regular walk-around inspections, and report any defects found.
- Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and comply with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
- Ensure loads are secure, within weight limits, and follow site-specific rules.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically.
- Demonstrate a high level of geographical knowledge.
- Complete any ad hoc requests.
