Overview
Here at the Mick George Group we are currently recruiting a HGV Driver to join the team.
Positions: Skip or Concrete
Location: Cambridge
Working Hours: Monday – Friday between 6am – 6pm, Occasional Saturday work averaging 50 hours per week
Pay: On target earnings circa £43,000 per annum plus performance related bonuses

Responsibilities
- Perform Pre-Shift and End-of-Shift vehicle checks including regular walk around inspections and report any defects found
- Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and complying with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours
- Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits and following site-specific rules
- You must maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically
- Demonstrate a high level of Geographical Knowledge
- Complete any adhoc requests
