Here at the Mick George Group we are currently recruiting a Contracts Administrator to join the Contracting team.
Location: Mick George Head Office – Huntingdon
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm
Pay: To be discussed at an interview

The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Contracts Administrator include providing administrative support to management, assisting in daily office tasks, and managing general administrative activities. We are seeking someone who can work independently and work well in a team in a busy fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Contracting Office Manager and senior management - i.e. management of processes, projects and any other Adhoc tasks.
- Financial administration relating to contracting projects i.e., creating purchase orders (using COINS), invoice sign off/queries, matching documentation and claiming expenses.
- Collating and sorting internal waste transfer notes and any other internal/external documentation, ensuring all information is stored in an organised fashion accessible for other members of staff when required.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies to organise agency staff and ensure that all documentation is in place.
- Liaise with other third-party suppliers, e.g., booking site visits with geo-technicians.
- GRN’s of agency worker timesheet hours.
- Assisting the Contracting Office Manager with organising pre-start meetings on behalf of the Contracting team, minute taking and general diary management.
- Booking hotel & travel arrangements and assisting with any event planning if necessary.
- Assisting other departments with information i.e., invoice queries.
- Building excellent working relationships and liaising with other departments within Mick George Ltd daily.
- Logging all site documentation methodically and in the correct folders; chasing missing site paperwork when required.
