Merton Council's Youth Work department is recruiting three part-time Young Inspectors, one for the Public Health team and two for SEND reforms. Successful applicants use their own experiences and those of other young people to show the council what works and what needs to change. The Public Health post is six hours a week and each SEND post is five, with possible evening and weekend work. An enhanced DBS check is required, and the SEND posts need lived experience of SEND rather than SEND itself.
