This is a permanent Care Assistant post in the community reablement service run by Essex Cares (ECL) in Worthing, West Sussex. The work centres on helping customers relearn daily living skills at home and in the community. Staff drive their own vehicle between customers across Worthing and the surrounding area, on early or late shifts. Applicants needing visa sponsorship cannot apply directly, so the right to work in the UK is required.
What the job involves
- Help customers regain independence and relearn daily living skills at home and in the community
- Assist customers with personal care
- Provide medication support
- Support customers with mobility
- Help customers prepare meals
- Travel between customers across Worthing and the surrounding area
What’s required
Experience
- Care experience sought, though full training is given regardless of background
Checks & eligibility
- Full driving licence
- Access to own car with business insurance
- Enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
