This Learning Lead post sits in the Talent and Learning team at Provide Care Solutions, the social care arm of Provide CIC. The role centres on running and improving mandatory training, corporate induction and the Care Certificate programme, and on maintaining online learning resources. The post is based in the north of England and needs regular travel to REACT branches, with occasional overnight stays and use of a car. Candidates need a Level 3 PTLLS or AET teaching qualification and health and social care experience.
What the job involves
- Support the management and delivery of mandatory training across the division so colleagues complete it within agreed timescales
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of Provide Care Solutions induction programmes
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the Care Certificate programme
- Ensure mandatory training compliance for social care colleagues is above the required level
- Support the development and maintenance of online learning resources in the Learning Management System
- Support CPD opportunities for colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues on training projects across the organisation
- Spend time at the REACT branches
- Keep up to date with learning and development practice, mandatory training requirements, adult learning methods and developments in health and social care
Qualifications
- Level 3 PTLLS or Award in Education and Training (AET)
Experience
- Experience of the health and social care sector
- Experience of delivering training virtually and in classroom settings to a diverse audience
- Experience of creating a range of learning and assessment interventions
Other
- Car owner
- Flexibility to travel, with occasional hotel overnight stays (1 to 3 nights a month on average)
Nice to have
- Health and Social Care Level 3
- Experience within the domiciliary care sector
