Hyde's busy maintenance team is recruiting a multi-trade plumber to carry out day-to-day repairs in customers' homes. The work covers plumbing and general maintenance such as kitchens, bathrooms and leaks, often done alone but sometimes alongside other trades. The post sits in social housing, with a company van and fuel card provided and a full UK driving licence required. Solid plumbing experience and confidence with hand and power tools will decide fit.
What the job involves
- Carrying out multi-trade repairs, mainly plumbing and general maintenance
- Fixing day-to-day faults in kitchens, bathrooms and leaks
- Working alone on own jobs and alongside other trades when needed
- Following work orders and reporting progress and materials used
- Working safely under Hyde's health and safety procedures
- Giving a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes
What’s required
Experience
- Solid experience in plumbing
Skills & knowledge
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Working independently and managing own workload
- Practical problem-solving to spot issues and fix them properly
- Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
Checks & eligibility
- Full, valid UK driving licence
