This is a permanent Care Assistant post in the community reablement service at Essex Cares, which helps customers regain their independence. The work centres on helping people relearn daily living skills at home and in the community, including personal care, medication support, mobility and meals. The role requires your own vehicle and driving between customers, with early and late shifts and, on some contracts, every other weekend. Applicants who need visa sponsorship cannot apply directly, so the right to work in the UK must already be held.
What the job involves

What’s required
Experience
- Care Assistant experience, though candidates without care experience are fully trained
Checks & eligibility
- Full driving licence
- Own vehicle with business insurance
- Enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship through direct application

- Availability for early and late shifts, including every other weekend on some contracts
