Consultant Psychiatrist post in the adult acute inpatient service at Priory Lakeside View, a specialist unit for adults with acute mental health needs. The consultant covers 17 beds across Robin and Swan wards, acting as Responsible Clinician from admission to discharge and working with a multidisciplinary team. Full-time, Monday to Friday, with one day a week working from home, and covers male and female patients over 18. Fit depends on MRCPsych, CCT, GMC Specialist Register entry and Approved Clinician status.
What the job involves
- Act as Responsible Clinician for patients from admission to discharge
- Cover 17 inpatient beds across Robin and Swan wards
- Work with a skilled and motivated multidisciplinary team
- Care for male and female adult patients aged 18 and over
Qualifications
- MRCPsych or an equivalent qualification
- CCT or equivalent
Registration & licences
- Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register
- Section 12(2) approval
- Approved Clinician status

- Clinical knowledge, skills and experience relevant to psychiatry

Checks & eligibility
- Enhanced DBS, Access NI or Disclosure Scotland check at the appropriate level
