A permanent wholetime firefighter post with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, working on its new Day Duty System at Dovercourt. The work is operational firefighting and keeping the local community safe, and the post is open only to firefighters already rated Phase 3 competent. It is a daytime-only pattern, four days on and four days off from 8am to 6pm, plus one flexible extra duty day each month. Applicants must already hold a current Fitech VO2 max and a breathing apparatus qualification (BAV&D or comparable).

Experience
- Phase 3 competent as a wholetime firefighter
- Completed all relevant operational assessments and compulsory courses for the role

- Current BAV&D assessment or comparable external breathing apparatus qualification
