Broadoak Academy is recruiting a permanent, full-time Senior Operations Manager to sit on the school's leadership team and run its non-educational functions. The post leads the Professional Services team, covering administration, health and safety, compliance, GDPR, HR support and recruitment, including safeguarding and the Single Central Record. It works alongside the Principal, with a continuous-improvement remit to build the systems that keep the academy running.
What the job involves
- Lead and manage the Professional Services team, including administrative staff
- Act as operational lead for health and safety, compliance, policy, GDPR and risk management
- Support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team on non-educational operations
- Oversee HR administration and recruitment, including safer recruitment and staff compliance
- Manage statutory responsibilities, including safeguarding compliance and the Single Central Record
- Develop systems and procedures that improve efficiency and support strategic priorities
