This technician post sits in the Creative Arts department at Rochdale Sixth Form College, part of Altus Education Partnership. What the job involves
- Provide technical and practical support for lessons, performances, productions, exhibitions and enrichment activities
- Maintain specialist equipment in the Creative Arts department
- Support photography studios
- Deliver sound, lighting and AV support for events
- Work across Photography, Graphics, Music and Drama
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent
- Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject
Experience
- Experience in one or more of lighting, sound, stage management, photography, video or creative arts technology
Skills & knowledge
- Strong ICT skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Organised and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
