NHS Professionals runs a six-month bank programme placing trainees with Torbay & South Devon NHS Foundation Trust at Torbay Hospital and surrounding sites. Trainees work through the 15 Care Certificate standards while supporting nurses with patients' daily living needs, from hygiene and comfort to wound care and clinical tasks.
Shifts cover earlies, lates and nights, at least 30 hours a week during training, leading to flexible bank work across partner Trusts.
