What the job involves
- Carry out cleaning duties in line with worksheet instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and laundry standards across the home
- Work to the group's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, keeping hotel service standards
- Clean all surfaces, applying knowledge of surface coverings and cleaning materials
- Keep all areas well presented and in good condition
- Treat residents with dignity and respect, protecting their personal space and belongings
- Work as part of a team
What's required
Experience
- Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting
- Cleaning experience in a public setting
Skills & knowledge
- Knowledge of health and safety, including moving and handling, fire safety and COSHH assessments
- Compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping and laundry service to residents
- Ability to adapt and cover a range of responsibilities at short notice
