Abbeyfield School, part of Creative Education Trust, is recruiting a Teacher of English on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract starting 1 January 2027. The work centres on planning and teaching English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on reading, writing and communication. The post is 32.5 hours a week, term-time only, and sits in a department that shares practice to secure strong progress for every student. Qualified Teacher Status and a good honours degree are required.
