Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 registered nurse or paramedic to its minor injury and illness unit. The work centres on Manchester Triage, keeping waiting patients safe and working alongside Emergency Practitioners to see around 50 to 65 patients a day. The post is 36 hours a week across a full rota of shifts, with the service open seven days from 08:00 to 20:00. Recent acute experience is desirable, though transferable skills can be considered.
What the job involves
- Triage patients using Manchester Triage
- Maintain the safety of patients waiting to be assessed
- Work alongside Emergency Practitioners to deliver care to around 50 to 65 patients a day
- Work a full range of shifts across a seven-day service running 08:00 to 20:00
- Put patient experience at the centre of clinical practice

- Post-registration clinical experience in an ED, minor injury and illness unit or urgent care setting
