This Higher Level Teaching Assistant post is at Nine Maidens Academy, one of the schools run by Wave Multi-Academy Trust, and supports pupils with additional needs across its primary and secondary departments. The core of the role is making a difference with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs, within individualised programmes. The academy holds the Dyslexia Friendly Schools Quality Mark and offers intervention programmes and outdoor learning. The post is term-time only, 30 hours a week, and requires an enhanced DBS check before any offer.
