Assessor role at t2 Group, which runs apprenticeship provision in health and social care, supporting learners in workplace settings towards their qualifications. The work centres on coaching, teaching and assessing learners against apprenticeship standards, including workplace observations and feedback on their written work. It is largely remote with planned site visits, and suits people with adult care leadership or senior carer experience. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification and have two years' recent adult care experience, with a full UK driving licence.
What the job involves
- Build relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement
- Deliver teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards
- Carry out workplace observations to assess practical competency
- Review learner work and give timely, constructive feedback
- Support learners with Functional Skills in maths and English where required
- Prepare learners for End Point Assessment
- Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of qualifications
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment

Experience
- At least 2 years' recent experience in adult health and social care, at senior carer level or above
