Vertas's Facilities Team is recruiting a relief cleaner on a zero-hours contract, called in on an ad hoc basis to cover business needs. The core of the work is keeping sites clean and hygienic, from washrooms and toilets to classrooms, communal areas, surfaces and floors. Previous cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, and the role suits someone who can work independently and manage their own time. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, and a DBS check may apply.
What the job involves
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness so sites are clean, safe and welcoming
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Wiping down tables and surfaces
- General cleaning across classrooms and communal areas
- Hoovering and mopping floors
