Community Academies Trust's central HR team is recruiting a Human Resources Manager to advise senior leaders across its schools. The work covers employee relations casework, organisational change, recruitment campaigns and workforce planning, plus safer recruitment and Single Central Record compliance. It is a full-time, year-round post combining head office work, home working and school visits across a multi academy trust. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
What the job involves
- Provide expert HR advice to senior leaders across the schools
- Lead on employee relations, casework and organisational change
- Drive recruitment campaigns and workforce planning
- Support strategic initiatives in wellbeing, EDI, pay and grading, and talent development
- Ensure compliance with safer recruitment and Single Central Record standards
- Deliver training and contribute to policy development
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it
Experience
- Proven HR advisory experience
Skills & knowledge
- Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice
- Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills
Checks & eligibility
- Enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
