What the job involves
- Carry out cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleaning
- Follow United Learning procedures and policies, working as part of the team
- Deliver deep cleans and evening cleaning sessions across the Academy during holidays and throughout the year, as directed by the Site Manager
- Use cleaning equipment and materials correctly in line with health and safety policies
- Follow COSHH risk assessments and procedures
- Work safely and follow Safe Methods of Work
- Keep equipment clean and maintained, reporting faults to the supervisor
- Maintain staffing levels in the area to meet business needs
- Control and issue cleaning materials and equipment
- Report all accidents and near misses to the Site Manager
- Provide excellent customer care at all times
- Lock the school building
