What the job involves
- Cooperate with the Principal Accountable Person and Responsible Persons on whole-building safety
- Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021 and other legislation
- Assist the Fire and Building Safety Manager on structural and fire safety for council housing and commercial properties
- Advise other council areas on building safety across social housing, private sector housing and other directorates' assets
