SEND Adminstrator in Sunbury-on-Thames

Sunbury Manor School is recruiting an administrator for its Learning Support team, supporting the Director of Inclusion (SENDCo) and the wider SEND department. The work centres on the statutory SEND cycle: arranging Annual Reviews and SEND meetings, keeping student records accurate, and handling admin for Education, Health and Care Plans. The role involves regular contact with families, the Local Authority and specialist professionals. An enhanced DBS check is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

What the job involves

• Coordinate Annual Reviews and SEND meetings
• Maintain accurate student records
• Support the administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Liaise with parents, carers and external agencies
• Help ensure statutory SEND processes are delivered effectively and on time
• Work with staff, families, the Local Authority and specialist professionals
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Inclusion (SENDCo) and the wider SEND department
• Help students with SEND receive the support they need to thrive

• Experience of working in a busy administrative environment

• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, families, colleagues and external agencies
• Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and student success
