Learning4Life is the adult and community learning provision at The Wordsley School, part of Stour Vale Academy Trust, and is recruiting casual tutors on variable hours. The work is running leisure courses, workshops and activities for adults, none of them English, Maths or employability. Languages, fitness and wellbeing, and sewing and textile skills are the priority areas, with sessions held during the day, evenings and weekends, though courses depend on numbers and may not run. Teaching qualifications and a subject specialism qualification are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Deliver adult learning courses, workshops and activities
- Teach in subject areas such as languages, fitness and wellbeing, and sewing and textile skills
