Casual school minibus driving post with St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust, working for St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy and other trust schools as needed. The work is to collect and carry pupils to school, swimming and other events, check the minibus before each journey and report faults. The driver also helps keep the vehicle up to health and safety standards and handles general repairs. Enhanced DBS clearance and right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Safely collect and transport pupils to school, swimming classes and other events as directed
- Carry out pre-journey checks on the minibus and report defects
- Help ensure the minibus meets health and safety requirements
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance on the minibus
- Portage, collection and ad hoc minibus work supporting schools in the trust
