The Advice and Wellbeing Hub at Reading Borough Council is seeking a social worker to be the first point of contact for adults, carers and professionals seeking advice. The role focuses on strengths-based Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments and coordinating best interest decisions within legal frameworks.
You will manage a short-term, varied caseload across wellbeing, independence and safeguarding enquiries, working with colleagues and external agencies.
