This Information Systems Specialist post sits within the Digital Delivery Service of IT and Digital Innovation at Sheffield City Council. The role supports the Council's digital infrastructure, networks and platforms, with work on cyber security, enterprise architecture, ICT service management and supplier contracts. What the job involves
- Deliver and support the Council's digital infrastructure, networks and technology platforms
- Protect services through cyber security, information governance and risk management
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture and technology standards
- Provide ICT service management, operational support and continuous service improvement
- Enable modern workplace technologies and digital collaboration tools
- Ensure business continuity, resilience and disaster recovery arrangements are in place
- Manage technology suppliers, contracts and strategic partnerships
- Lead technology-enabled change and infrastructure improvement programmes
- Support the delivery of secure, sustainable and cost-effective digital services
- Provide governance, assurance and technical expertise to support organisational transformation
