This ICT Project Manager post sits in the Digital Transformation & Programmes Service within Sheffield City Council's ICT & Digital Innovation team. The work centres on delivering digital change across the Council, working with enabling services to redesign customer journeys and modernise systems. It is a 37-hour, full-time role, and the Council will discuss flexible arrangements such as part time, reduced hours or job share. What the job involves
- Deliver ICT programmes and projects across the Council
- Lead digital transformation of services with enabling services
- Redesign end-to-end customer journeys and expand online self-service
- Support programmes using AI, automation and emerging technology
- Support data platforms, governance and analytics
- Modernise business systems and rationalise applications, contracts and licences
- Support secure networks, cloud platforms and cyber security
- Support staff digital skills, adoption of new technology and benefits realisation
- Contribute to ICT analysis, business relationship management, and portfolio governance and assurance
