Reading Borough Council's Housing Needs team is recruiting a senior officer to manage a complex homelessness caseload and make Part VII decisions. You will negotiate with landlords and families, chair multi-agency meetings and mentor colleagues as part of reducing temporary accommodation use.
The role requires significant experience with homelessness legislation, strong negotiation skills and the ability to lead and develop housing plans with customers.
