What the job involves
- Deliver and support high-quality echocardiograms to BSE standards
- Support the cardiorespiratory lead in managing day-to-day service delivery
- Ensure compliance with CQC, MHRA and clinical governance standards, promoting patient safety and service excellence
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient experience and service efficiency
- Contribute to training, mentoring and professional development within the cardiorespiratory team
- Work alongside the Lead Physiologist, Interventional Suite Manager and consultant cardiologists to keep The Cardiology Centre running smoothly
- Support care in outpatient cardiology and the mobile echo service in sporting settings
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Cardiac Physiology
Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years' post-registration experience within a cardiorespiratory environment
- Proven experience in echocardiograms
