The East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant in Acute Medicine for Ipswich Hospital, based in the acute medicine EAU. The consultant leads acute assessment, triage and management of patients in the unit, working with senior therapists and nurses and liaising closely with the Emergency Department.
The full-time role also includes supervising junior EAU staff, teaching medical students and taking a regular slot in registrar teaching.
