Fixed-term maternity cover post in the SEN team at The Minster School, a Church of England academy within the Minster Trust for Education. The work is specialist support for students with special educational needs, one-to-one or in groups, including personal care and learning help under the SEN team's direction. At 25.5 hours a week, it is a part-time role for someone with experience of working with children and young people. An enhanced DBS check and KCSIE declaration are required.
What the job involves
- Provide specialist support to individual students with special educational needs
- Provide specialist support to groups of students
- Assist with students' personal care
- Support students' learning under the supervision, direction and guidance of the SEN team
Checks & eligibility
- Enhanced DBS check
- Completion of a KCSIE declaration
