This permanent Care Assistant post sits in the community reablement service at Essex Cares, helping people regain daily living skills at home and out in the community. Duties include personal care, medication support, mobility and meal preparation, with a mentor assigned to new starters. Contracts of 25 to 35 hours cover early and late shifts, including every other weekend. A full driving licence and own vehicle with business insurance are needed, and visa sponsorship is not available through direct application.
