This mobile domestic assistant post sits in the Delivery Frontline team at NHS Property Services, based at Sedgefield Community Hospital and covering several NHS Property Services sites. The core of the work is cleaning healthcare premises to a high standard, following cleaning schedules, the Domestic Services Operative Manual and infection prevention practice. It is a 20-hour role with weekday morning shifts, travelling between sites in a provided work vehicle. A standard DBS check is required.
What the job involves
- Deliver a full cleaning service across NHS Property Services premises, in line with the Domestic Services Operative Manual, policies, procedures and cleaning schedules
- Carry out cleaning to a high standard across multiple sites
- Travel between allocated locations
- Provide cleaning cover across sites as the service requires
- Follow health and safety and COSHH guidance
- Work with team members, site colleagues and Soft FM management
- Maintain cleanliness and infection prevention standards
- Complete routine tasks and follow workplace procedures
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed accurately and consistently across allocated locations
