Permanent minibus driver post at Wrenn School, one of the schools run by Creative Education Trust, on a five-hour weekly contract. The role is to drive pupils safely to school and keep order on board, with occasional trips for visits and activities. The morning run is 7.40am to 8.40am on weekdays during term time only, 38 weeks a year. An enhanced DBS check and barred list check are required before any offer.
What the job involves
- Operate the school minibus in line with safety regulations
- Transport pupils safely and comfortably to school each weekday morning
- Maintain a calm and supportive environment for pupils on board
- Carry out basic vehicle checks to keep the minibus in good working order
- Transport pupils to educational visits and other school activities on an ad hoc basis
