Two posts in the lunchtime and play team at Treeton Church of England Primary School, starting as soon as possible. The work centres on watching over pupils in the playground and school field and planning play for children of different ages. Shifts run from 11:30am to 1pm on weekdays, and the grounds include a pond, polytunnel and large field. An enhanced DBS check is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Monitor children in the playground and school field at lunchtime for safety and wellbeing
- Plan, prepare and run indoor and outdoor play activities for a range of ages
- Promote positive play, social interaction and inclusion among pupils
- Keep play areas safe, manage equipment and support children, including those with additional needs
- Work with the wider team and report concerns to the Play Coordinator or senior staff
