What the job involves
- Manage the Care Supervisors so that high-quality personal care is delivered to residents
- Act as an advocate for all residents, protecting their best interests across all areas of wellbeing
- Co-ordinate the resident assessment process and ensure care plans are accurate and reflected in each plan
- Support, guide and develop team members
- Ensure equipment is stored and cleaned in line with manufacturer's instructions and after use
- Ensure compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing
- Carry out Quality Care Spot Checks and report on care provided by Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry
- Experience of leading a team in a similar care environment
Skills & knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
