CalMac Ferries is seeking a permanent Second Engineer to join the lifeline ferry fleet. You will be responsible for engine room watchkeeping under the Chief Engineer, carrying out planned maintenance and repairs, and supervising junior engineers and ratings.
The role requires STCW III/2 (Unlimited) and ENG1 medical, with fleet-specific training after offer. Hours are 42 per week on a rotating schedule; entry depends on unlimited CoP and ENG1, with training provided post-offer.
