t2 Group is recruiting a permanent assessor to support apprentices on health and social care programmes across workplace settings. The work is supporting, coaching and assessing learners through to completion, including workplace observations and preparation for End Point Assessment. Delivery is largely remote with planned workplace visits, and learners are supplied, so no sourcing is needed. Fit depends on a Level 3 health and social care qualification, two years' recent experience at senior carer level or above, and a full UK driving licence.
What the job involves
- Build strong relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement
- Deliver teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards
- Conduct workplace observations to assess practical competency
- Review learner work and give timely, constructive feedback
- Support learners with Functional Skills in maths and English where required
- Prepare learners for End Point Assessment
- Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of qualifications
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment
Qualifications
- Level 3 or higher qualification in health and social care
Experience
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience in adult health and social care at senior carer level or above
