This nursery playworker post sits in Abbey Ark Nursery at Bourne Abbey Church of England Primary Academy, part of Infinity Academies Trust, as fixed-term maternity cover until 31 July 2027. The work centres on the care and play of the youngest children, building their oracy through positive interactions. Hours run flexibly from 7:30am to 6pm. Early years experience and a Level 3 childcare qualification are needed, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Work with the youngest children in the EYFS nursery setting
- Make positive interactions with children to develop their oracy
- Contribute creative ideas to planning and the learning environment
Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent
- Level 3 diploma in childcare
Experience
- Experience of working within early years
