This is maternity cover in the nursery team at Sundorne Infant School and Nursery, running until July 2027 and starting January 2027. The core of the work is keyworking a small group of children, planning creative early years activities under the Nursery Leader, and working with parents on their child's health, wellbeing and development. The post is term-time only, 30 hours across Monday to Friday, and suits someone with school setting experience. Enhanced DBS clearance is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Act as keyworker to a small group of children
- Ensure activities are carried out safely and responsibly in line with statutory responsibilities
- Work creatively with children within the early years framework, as instructed by the Nursery Leader
- Liaise closely with parents to support their child's health, wellbeing, learning and development
