A 12-month fixed-term data and intelligence post in Foster4, the collaborative service that recruits foster carers for nine Cheshire and Merseyside councils. The work centres on analysing marketing funnels and applicant journeys, mapping regional demographics and building real-time performance dashboards to show where new foster families can be found. Applications from current fostering service staff in the nine authorities are prioritised, and permanent council staff must apply as an internal secondment. Candidates need a DBS check, accurate spoken English and the right to work in the UK, as no sponsorship is offered.
What the job involves
- Analyse marketing funnels, map regional demographics and track applicant journeys to find where new foster families can be recruited and supported
- Design and maintain real-time dashboards tracking the end-to-end recruitment journey
- Produce clear, actionable data stories and reports
- Use insights to shape regional recruitment strategies
- Ensure data collection, sharing and storage align with statutory frameworks and GDPR
Experience
- Experience of working effectively in a busy, pressured environment
- Experience of using own initiative to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Skills & knowledge
- Ability to converse at ease with customers and give advice in accurate spoken English
