Family Hub Navigator post with Cumberland Council, based across the council's Family Hubs. The holder welcomes families, gives information and guidance, and helps them reach the right support at the right time, building relationships with families and partners. Four posts are offered across Millom, Wigton, Maryport and Petterill Bank, two full-time and two part-time. The work involves regulated activity with children, so an enhanced DBS check with a Children's Barred List check is required.
What the job involves
- Welcome families to the Family Hubs and help create a warm, inclusive environment
- Provide information and guidance to families
- Help families access the right support at the right time
- Help families find their way through the range of support available across Cumberland's Family Hubs
- Coordinate activities and services within the hubs
- Build positive relationships with families and partners
