Registered Manager post leading Beck House, a six-bed residential service run by Elysium Healthcare for adults under 65 with learning disabilities, autism and sensory and communication differences. The job covers running the service, meeting quality and financial targets, and building links with community teams while growing commercial income from purchasers and referrers. It supports people stepping down from hospital or at risk of inappropriate admission, staffed around the clock. Fit rests on an NMC PIN, five years as an RNLD or RMN and past registered manager experience.
What the job involves
- Lead and manage the service overall, including excellent care and operational performance
- Meet quality and financial targets and develop services in line with purchaser, client, market and evidence-based needs
- Contribute to the strategic development of the service in line with Elysium's objectives and business plan
- Build close working relationships with community multi-disciplinary teams and other external stakeholders
- Develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers
- Promote and enhance Elysium Healthcare's reputation for high-quality outcomes for service users
What’s required
Registration & licences
- Valid NMC PIN
Experience
- Excellent track record in a management role within healthcare
- At least five years as an RNLD or RMN, or previous experience in the role
- Experience as a Registered Manager

- Understanding of mental health and learning disabilities
- Commitment to improving clinical quality and service user care
- Commercial acumen covering budget control, people management, business development and revenue generation
