This is a permanent, term-time lunchtime supervisory post at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School in Shotton, part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust. The work is about keeping pupils safe and well supervised in the dining hall and playground, promoting good behaviour and helping children with their meals. Each day is a single one-hour shift, 11:30am to 12:30pm, with no work during school closures and pay adjusted under NJC retainer rules. An Enhanced DBS check is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Ensure pupils are safe, happy and well supervised at lunchtime
- Oversee children in the dining hall and playground
- Promote positive behaviour among pupils
- Help pupils with their meals where needed
- Support children at lunchtimes under the direction of the SLT
- Work with professionals inside and outside the school team
