Mobile Cleaner post in the Schools Traded teams of St Helens Borough Council's Operations Department, covering the borough's 55 primary and 5 secondary schools. The work is daily cleaning routines carried out alone or in a team, following health and safety policy and procedure. Because it is mobile, the post-holder moves between locations and may be asked to cover extra hours, on either 10 or 20 hours a week. No experience is needed as full training is given, but an enhanced DBS check applies.
What the job involves
- Complete daily cleaning routines in line with health and safety policy and procedure
- Work individually or as part of a team
- Move between locations as part of the mobile workforce, providing cover and additional hours where needed
- Communicate with managers, colleagues and members of the public in line with council policy
