This fixed-term graduate scheme sits with Health Education and Improvement Wales, the strategic workforce body for NHS Wales, and places trainees in a Welsh health board, trust or special health authority over 24 months. Trainees rotate through placements that give supervised responsibility for managing services, staff and financial resources, in corporate or patient-facing departments. The programme includes an academic course, coaching and mentoring, and Welsh language skills are desirable though English speakers are equally welcome. Selection weighs a written application equally with online assessments, so both need equal attention.
