NCFE's Assessment Delivery team is recruiting examiners on a flexible worker contract. The work is marking external assessments for the T Level Technical Qualification in Health, Supporting Therapy Teams, and submitting results during the summer 2027 marking window. It suits working physiotherapy, occupational therapy or allied health teachers and assessors, with remote weekday standardisation and full training provided. Fit depends on a Level 3 or higher therapy qualification and recent teaching or occupational experience in the sector.
What the job involves
- Apply the Chief Examiner's mark scheme consistently and accurately
- Mark external assessments and submit results during the summer 2027 marking window
- Attend standardisation and other meetings as required, run remotely on weekdays 9.00am to 5.00pm before the marking window
- Report suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team
- Keep NCFE assessment materials, learner evidence and learner details confidential, reporting any breaches

Qualifications
- Level 3 or above qualification in therapy or a closely related subject
Experience
- Current or recent teaching at Level 3 or above in a therapy-related subject, or significant recent occupational experience in the sector
Skills & knowledge
- Understanding of effective quality assurance mechanisms
- Working consistently to tight deadlines
