Neighbourhood Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract)

Full-Time On-site
T

PA Housing is seeking a Neighbourhood Coordinator on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave until September 2027. The post centres on building relationships with residents and local partners, including councils, community groups, police and health services, and encouraging residents to shape services. The role is hybrid and mostly remote, covering a patch that spans several Midlands towns and involving regular visits to residents' homes. Fit depends on a standard DBS check, a full UK driving licence and access to a car, and unspent convictions are assessed through a risk assessment.

  • Visit and support residents in their own homes on a regular basis
  • Get to know individuals and families and work with the wider team to meet their needs
  • Help shape and grow community engagement activities so residents can get involved and share their views
  • Support residents to have a real say in decisions about services
  • Keep residents informed about neighbourhood news through social media, the website, noticeboards and in person
  • Keep neighbourhoods safe, clean and good places to live, taking responsibility and sharing updates as they happen
  • Support Tenant Satisfaction Measures and identify what is working well and where services can improve
  • Lead the You and Your Neighbourhood campaign, gathering residents' feedback and ideas
  • Help create inclusive, welcoming communities that are built to last
  • Represent PA Housing face to face across the patch
