Reading Borough Council is seeking a Multi-skilled Carpenter to join the Property Services team. You will carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance on council-owned homes, including occupied properties, and undertake patch plastering, vinyl flooring and tiling as part of multi-trade work.
The role is 37 hours a week from the Bennet Road depot, with an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota. A full driving licence and City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry are required, and a company vehicle
